For Ricardo Kelly, Fuego Azul Tequila™ is the culmination of decades of leadership, entrepreneurship, and a commitment to building something with purpose.

Ricardo’s journey began in the United States Army Infantry, where he developed the discipline, resilience, and leadership principles that would guide him throughout his career.

Following his military service, he spent more than two decades as a senior engineering operations and service executive, leading technical organizations, managing multimillion-dollar operations, and delivering results in highly regulated environments where precision, accountability, and execution mattered.

His entrepreneurial journey eventually led him into the beverage industry with the founding of Kelly Family Distributors, an independent beverage distribution company serving the Georgia market. Working directly with suppliers, retailers, restaurants, and hospitality partners gave Ricardo firsthand insight into beverage distribution, brand development, regulatory compliance, and what it takes to successfully bring a brand to market.

That experience shaped his vision for Fuego Azul Tequila™.

Ricardo saw an opportunity to take everything he had learned—from military leadership and corporate operations to entrepreneurship and beverage distribution—and build a tequila brand of his own.

That vision led him to Amatitán, Jalisco, where Fuego Azul is crafted from 100 percent fully mature Blue Weber agave, produced in small batches, and proudly additive free. Every detail, from the production process to the signature diamond-shaped bottle, reflects his belief that exceptional things require patience, precision, and purpose.

Today, Fuego Azul Tequila™ represents more than the next chapter in Ricardo’s journey. It is the brand those chapters prepared him to build.
